Trip Overview

A luxury golf vacation in the majestic Himalayas, known as the “Rooftop of the World”, has to be the ultimate experience. All-inclusive golf holiday packages in the Himalayas offer cultural experiences of Nepal, world-renowned golf courses on some of the world’s highest fairways, five-star luxury accommodation, the opportunity for local sightseeing and helicopter transportation through breathtaking scenery, including the snow-covered peaks of Everest’s foothills. Combine cultural activities, UNESCO World Heritage Sites and unique activities with a round of golf at every opportunity, whilst enjoying all the comforts of home in a five star luxury resort.

Taste of NepalFor non-golfers, the trip is equally accommodating. Indulge in luxury spa therapies and Ayurvedic treatments at the Hyatt’s Oasis Spa. Imagine a relaxing massage or beauty treatment delivered by highly skilled beauticians amidst some of the most impressive mountain scenery in the world. Boutique shopping, sightseeing and outdoor adventures can all be combined in a wonderful golf vacation in Nepal.

Nepal is well known for its trekking, mountaineering and adrenalin pumping activities, but a golf holiday booked through Responsible Adventures offers the same cultural insights and stunning natural beauty without the burn! Play golf with like-minded guests, enjoy gourmet cuisine and be transported in comfort and style in Land Cruisers and private helicopters.

Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu

Set in 37 acres and surrounded by some of the most impressive mountain scenery in the Himalayas, the Hyatt Regency is just 10km from Kathmandu city centre. The 284 rooms are in Himalayan-style architecture which is wholly sympathetic to this scenic area. The hotel is a sanctuary of calm yet within easy reach of the shopping and business districts of Kathmandu via the complimentary shuttle.

As you would expect, the Hyatt Regency Kathmandu has excellent services and amenities, three restaurants, a lobby lounge and bar as well as the Club Oasis Spa which includes high-tech fitness facilities, sauna and steam room, Jacuzzi, beauty salon, massage, swimming pool, tennis courts and a meditation centre. The traditional Ayurveda-based treatments are delivered by some of Nepal’s most experienced therapists.

Fulbari Resort, Pokhara

Set in the stunning Pokhara Valley amidst the Annapurna Range, Pokhara is 827 metres above sea level and is surrounded by still lakes, best appreciated from the air as you fly by helicopter to this amazing resort. Relax in the shadow of Macchapuchre (Fishtail) and the five famous peaks of Annapurna in the 5-star paradise of the Fulbari, one of the Great Hotels of the World, surrounded by awe-inspiring scenery. This luxury golf resort, housed in traditional Newari-style architecture, provides the very best ambience, facilities and service in Nepal. Enjoy Thai herbal treatments in the Spa Avatar, meditation and yoga, on-site shopping or discover Robert’s Aviary. Golfers can enjoy a round at the on-site Yeti’s 9-hole executive golf course, notably one of the most challenging in the world, with tee-shots across the stunning Yeti Gorge amidst tranquil and beautiful surroundings.

Gokarna Forest Golf Resort

This impressive luxury resort is one of South Asia’s finest hotels with a golf course designed by Gleneagles Golf Developments. Built to USGA specifications, the Bermuda grass fairways of the Gokarna Golf Club weave through the centuries-old Gokarna forest, watered by winding streams of melted glacier water. Once the hunting ground of the kings of Nepal, shy deer and chattering monkeys watch your progress, whilst the stunning mountain views distract at every turn. This is a 6,715 yard, par-72 course in Nepal’s former Royal Forbidden Valley.

Owned and operated by Le Meridien, one of the world’ finest hotel names, the sixteen private cottages are arranged around the restored Hunter’s Lodge where the restaurant, bar and amenities are worthy of any Royal Shikari. With a decadent Harmony Spa and a well-equipped health club, the Gokarna Forest Golf Resort has something for everyone.

Pokhara Golf Resort

A round of golf on the 6,900 yard par-73 Himalayan Golf Course at Pokhara is a must for any golfing connoisseur. Venue of the Nepal Surya Western Open and designed by Sandhurst commissioned officer, Major Ram Gurung MBE, it takes the challenges of golf in the Himalayas to new heights in a majestic canyon setting beside, and sometimes in the middle of, the Bijaypur river. The Fourth “Island” hole is one of the most unique holes in the world.

Client Reviews

Thanks Raj
You have personally made this such a fantastic trip - better than I was expecting. I especially loved all the little extra details - including the guitar playing and singing... the power of rock lives on!! I hope to see you in Oxford in 2006 and I'll try to look after you as well as you have done for me in Nepal.... or at least take you on a mighty big pub-crawl! Good luck with all future plans.
