Best of Nepal Trek

Trip Overview

This trip is the best possible introduction of Nepal to those who want to see more of the country on a single visit. On this trip you go through 2 of the most popular trekking routes of Nepal. This is a combination of The Annapurna Trek and The Special Everest Trek with a relaxing 2 days in the Heart of the Chitwan National Park.

Best of Nepal TrekAnnapurna Trek, Pokhara & Chitwan

The Annapurna trek passing through Gorkha villages with many great views of the mighty Himalaya and it's surrounding landscape. At the end of the first trek we have two days of exploring and relaxing by the serene Phewa Lake followed by 2 nights in the Chitwan National Park is a great way to 'get close' to the wildlife of the Indian sub-continent.

The activities include jungle walk, jungle drive, bird watching and the exciting elephant rides. After the mild activities in the jungle resort you will be ready to tackle the adventure of this magnificent trip.

The Everest Trek

We fly into the Everest valley known as the Khumbu valley. This is the home to some of the hardiest and most famous mountain climbers in the world, the Sherpas. Along with some of the highest mountains in the world, you will be able to see some of the tamest musk deer, Himalayan Tahr and many species of birds. The reason for the tameness of these wildlife is this valley is in the Sagarmatha National Park where hunting is banned but more so due to the Sherpas being Buddhists thus heeding the teaching of ahimsa - non-violence. You will be visiting the Pangboche and Thyangboche monasteries, the oldest and the spiritual center of the Khumbu valley.

Client Reviews

The Annapurna Base Camp trek was one of the most awe inspiring, beautiful, challenging adventures I have ever done, and I was lucky enough to have chosen the perfect tour guides for the journey – Responsible Adventures.

Raj and Lhakpa looked after us literally every step of the way, I didn’t have to worry, plan or think about anything, except to take in the breathtaking scenery and natural splendour of the Himalayas. They looked after all the accommodation bookings, meals ( which were of superb standard and also we had surprise treats along the way provided by Raj and Lhakpa), tickets and passes, and even amended the trek to look after me when I got slightly unwell en route. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and I don’t think I could ever say thank you enough as they looked after us like we were family. I had to return earlier to Kathmandu, and even though the trip had officially ended, Raj even called to make sure that I had got back safely which was really thoughtful.

The trekking was splendid, the expesrience when you get to the base camps is indescribable, and the scenery complemented by Raj’s superb knowledge about the mountains and its beautiful surrounds. Responsible Adventures go out of their way to make it feel like a once in a lifetime experience, and the trip exceeded all my expectations. Thank you Raj and Lhakpa, for my amazing Annapurna experience, and all the special touches which made the trip so memorable.
